How a popular AI companion app defeated Apple's ban on NSFW content

Janitor AI’s homepage when NSFW content is present

AI companion apps like Character AI and Janitor AI are among the most addictive and potentially harmful platforms available today. Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store both have policies that prevent sexually explicit NSFW apps from being offered on their platforms. The payment processor Stripe has similar restrictions.
