How a popular AI companion app defeated Apple's ban on NSFW content

AI companion apps like Character AI and Janitor AI are among the most addictive and potentially harmful platforms available today. Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store both have policies that prevent sexually explicit NSFW apps from being offered on their platforms. The payment processor Stripe has similar restrictions. How then does Janitor AI manage to remain available for download by iPhone and Android users, and continue to use Stripe for its payment processing?
I spent two days investigating the company and documented the process here. I encourage you to read it, confirm it for yourself (if you feel the need to), and then report Janitor AI to all three platforms for violating their Terms of Service regarding NSFW content.
